Privacy notice

This explains what happens to your details when you use Lairage.

Lairage is run from a family farm near Wellington, Somerset. For anything about your details, email hello@lairage.uk.

Searching

When you search, your postcode or town goes from your browser to postcodes.io to find its location. We don't store it. Your last search is remembered on your own device only. The site doesn't use tracking cookies.

Sending an enquiry

We collect what you put in the form: your name, email, and optionally your phone number and location, plus the details of your animals and what you need. We use them only to pass your enquiry to the business you chose, to send you a copy, and to check whether it reached them.

If the business takes enquiries by email, we send it to them and they reply to you directly. If they don't, we phone them and pass it on. Either way, that business then has your details to reply to you. We don't sell your details or use them for marketing.

To stop the form being misused, we keep a scrambled (hashed) copy of your email address and internet address and use it to limit how many enquiries can be sent. We keep enquiries for 12 months and then delete them.

Your rights

You can ask to see the details we hold about you, or to have them deleted, by emailing hello@lairage.uk. If you're unhappy with how we've handled your details, you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office.
